Introduction

I am currently a Consultant to Lloyd George Management, a UK multi-family office, providing equity advisory to them, specializing in macroeconomic and sectoral analysis, as well as stock recommendations for China, Hong Kong, and Japan equities. Prior to this, I served as the Strategy Planning Director at a China-based Petrochemicals company, where I played a key role in planning overseas expansion and global distribution strategies for the company's wide range of products.

During my tenure as Managing Director at a subsidiary of a listed company, which is majority owned by a reputable family in Singapore, I successfully led a restructuring initiative that turned the business from loss-making to EBITDA positive within three years. Additionally, I spearheaded significant sales growth and operational improvements, including a threefold increase in output at our Singapore plant and a 20% reduction in manpower through automation and process enhancements.

My experience also includes managing private investments totaling at least S$20 million, with a track record of successful acquisitions and mergers that contributed significantly to the company's revenue growth. Furthermore, I have developed an equity investment methodology based on the principles of Noriyuki Hayashi, aimed at outperforming market benchmarks.

From almost every angle of Riga's downtown, one could see the Latvian flag planted at the Daugava river, where it meets the Baltic sea. It is mostly frozen all of the winter. Sunday January afternoon.
